Information received from Ken Adams, grandson of Bert Stivers. Bert Stivers formed the “Margay” Oil Company, that later sold to Sohio and then Bert began working for Sohio until he retired.

Sun Ray Oil Camp -2004
This building is in disrepair, but if you see this structure in another camp in the hills, you can almost bet that at one time it was a Sun Ray Oil Camp. There were several homes in this camp area.
Phillips Oil Camp (13-12-18) located on east side of Horse Thief Canyon Ave, on the hill behind What is known as Ott’s –Rock Ridge Ranch, you can still see the line of trees that grew where the houses sat. There were about 5-6 homes here.

Champlin Oil Camp (17-12-18) located on the Hadley Range Ave, the houses were on the east side of the road and the oil camp buildings were on the west side of the road, there are only 2 houses left and the one storage building in the camp in 2004.

Cities Service (22-11-17) on the very northeast corner of the section – near the intersection of Riverview Road & Codell Ave - It had four homes along the road, with the camp buildings being located to the west of the homes. One of the families that lived here was the Slim Anderson's, he was instrumental in getting the Volga-German families working in the oilfield. Cities Service was sold to Oxy. All that's left is a few foundations and trees.
